These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Scaner4U Android application (“Scaner4U” or “the App”), provided by KVI Mobile Apps. By downloading, installing, accessing or using Scaner4U, you agree to these Terms. If Scaner4U presents an acceptance screen, tapping “I Agree” confirms that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Scaner4U Privacy Policy. Acceptance of these Terms is separate from advertising or privacy consent requested through Google UMP.

1. About Scaner4U

Scaner4U is a document scanning and file-processing application. It may provide document scanning, PDF creation, OCR text recognition, importing selected documents and images, converting supported file formats, merging/splitting/compressing PDF files, opening/saving/exporting/sharing files, and managing local documents.

2. Age requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Scaner4U. If applicable law requires a higher age for consent to personal-data processing, you must meet that requirement or use the App with appropriate parent/legal-guardian consent where permitted.

3. License to use the App

KVI Mobile Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Scaner4U for personal or lawful business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the App for illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive purposes; interfere with its security or normal operation; violate another person's rights; intentionally bypass technical protections; or redistribute/sell the App except where permitted by law.

4. Your documents and content

You remain responsible for documents, images and files you scan, import, process, save, export or share. KVI Mobile Apps does not claim ownership of your scanned documents, imported files, OCR text or converted documents. Document contents are not uploaded to servers operated by KVI Mobile Apps for document processing.

5. Accuracy of scanning, OCR and conversion

Automated scanning, OCR, cropping, image processing, PDF generation, compression and file conversion can produce errors or differences from the original. Review important results before relying on, submitting, printing, signing, archiving or sharing them. Scaner4U is not a guaranteed method of creating an exact legal, archival, forensic or certified reproduction.

6. Important and sensitive documents

Use additional care with identity, financial, medical, legal, contractual, signed or confidential documents. Keep originals or independent backups when information is important.

7. Local storage and backups

Scaner4U may store scanned and converted files locally. You are responsible for sufficient storage, backups, device access protection, deleting unneeded files and managing exported copies. Removing Scaner4U, clearing App data, device reset or hardware failure may cause loss of locally stored files.

8. Sharing and third-party services

When you send a file to another application or service, use of that service is governed by its own terms and privacy practices. KVI Mobile Apps is not responsible for third-party services selected by you.

9. Google services

Scaner4U may use Google Play services, Google ML Kit, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's terms, privacy policies, availability and technical requirements.

10. Advertising and document export

Scaner4U is supported by advertising. Banner advertisements may appear on Home and Files.

Exporting one scanned page is free and does not require a rewarded advertisement. To create and export a full document containing two or more scanned pages, the App offers an explicit voluntary choice to watch one rewarded advertisement. Rewarded advertisements are not displayed automatically. Returning from the prompt preserves the scan. A normal rewarded unlock is granted only after the advertising SDK confirms that the reward has been earned. Closing an advertisement without earning the reward does not grant that unlock.

If a rewarded advertisement is technically unavailable, including offline, no-fill or loading failure, the scan is preserved and a safe fallback export may be available to avoid loss of the user's document. The same page rule applies to Photo to PDF in this version.

Interstitial advertisements may appear only at natural transition points after completed document operations. The finished result is available before an interstitial opportunity. Opportunities occur when the user selects Done after the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th and subsequent multiples of three successfully completed document operations, with at least five minutes between interstitial advertisements. Interstitial is not shown after a rewarded advertisement in the same completion session. If an interstitial is unavailable or advertising consent does not permit a request, navigation continues immediately. Missed opportunities are not accumulated for later display.

There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases in this version.

11. Advertising availability

Advertising availability can depend on internet connection, region, age category, consent status, device configuration, inventory and Google AdMob availability. KVI Mobile Apps does not guarantee that an advertisement will always be available.

12. Privacy choices and consent

Advertising privacy consent is separate from acceptance of these Terms. Scaner4U may use UMP to obtain/manage advertising consent and, where required, provides a Privacy choices entry in App settings.

13. Advertising and minors

Scaner4U is not directed to children under 13. For users identified as aged 13–17, age-appropriate advertising restrictions are applied where required by applicable law and Google advertising requirements.

14. No user account required

Scaner4U does not require a Scaner4U account for core functionality. Because no Scaner4U server-side account is created, there is no online Scaner4U account to close when you stop using the App.

15. Internet connection

Some features may require internet access, including downloading certain Google components, displaying advertisements, updating advertising consent information and opening external legal/support pages.

16. Availability and compatibility

KVI Mobile Apps aims to keep Scaner4U functional on supported Android devices but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Functionality can vary by hardware, Android version, camera, memory/storage, Google Play services, third-party components and document complexity.

17. Intellectual property

Scaner4U original software, branding and design elements created by KVI Mobile Apps are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party/open-source components remain subject to their own licenses and ownership rights.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Scaner4U is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. KVI Mobile Apps does not guarantee perfect detection, cropping, OCR, conversion or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or legal guarantees that cannot be excluded.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KVI Mobile Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of Scaner4U, including losses related to backups, incorrect OCR, conversion errors, accidental deletion, exported files, reliance on unverified results or third-party-service failures, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

20. Prohibited use

You may not knowingly use Scaner4U to violate applicable laws, create or distribute fraudulent documents, violate privacy/confidentiality, unlawfully copy protected material, interfere with the App or advertising systems, or misuse the App in a way that may harm others.

21. Changes to Scaner4U

KVI Mobile Apps may update Scaner4U to add/improve features, fix errors, improve security, comply with requirements and maintain compatibility.

22. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when the App, applicable laws, third-party services or business practices change. The Last updated date will be revised when materially updated.

23. Privacy

Your use of Scaner4U is also subject to the Scaner4U Privacy Policy.
